Hello crinrict I did what you suggested and it worked absolutely fine. I guess the problem is with older saves. I will try out the EA high school and see if that works. The cafeteria worker only comes back at 3.30 when school is finished. Very strange.
Could you try if it works if you replace the counter in your game with a new one ?
Unfortunately this doesn't work and I also changed the school to the original EA build, but the cafeteria worker still leaves and returns at 3.30. Also prom isn't working, no notifications and doesn't appear in the calendar.
