The vendor "cooks" that operate the Discover University food stations do not maintain their schedules. They often do not arrive on time and will leave seemingly randomly--sometimes within minutes of arriving. This gets particularly annoying when trying to order food only to have some NPC try to start a conversation--yeah, that was not "fixed" and has gotten worse since last month. It used to be I could cancel a NPC conversation that came up after my sim ordered without my sim's food order being dropped from queue. NPC conversations get priority so even if my sim ordered before NPC approaches, food order gets dropped and vendor cook leaves or just stops operating the station and mills about before eventually leaving. If an NPC attempts to speak with vendor cook, vendor stops operating their station. Bartenders are almost as bad but at least my sims can get behind the bars and make their own drinks while the uni food stations can only be operated by the vendors. These vendor cooks have one job and cannot even get that right. Maybe start by deprioritizing random NPC interactions since they are not the main characters.
I have started having issues with some of the outside vendors as well. I was having particular trouble with the one operating the food stand outside the Copperdale library. My sim could order food, and the vendor took the money, but then immediately stepped back and closed the stand without giving my sim his food. It was kind of funny the first time, but quickly became frustrating.
