Since my teenager started attending high school he gets expelled every day. He never got any strikes, and it doesn't matter if I send him alone or if I tag along.
I do not have any mods or similar....

Having the same issue. My Sims were all Grade A, maybe occasionally late to school but nothing too crazy. I tried using cheats to reset and reenroll but at the end of the day, they were expelled again—both if I joined them or if they went alone.
