I searched in the bug reports but it seems like what was described didn't fit what I am experiencing, but I found something about this in a thread about mods and custom content with a fixed status for the issue. I am sorry if this this is considered a duplicate bug or something else because of this but I am at my wits' end.
I play on PC, my game has always been up to date with the updates as of September 7th, 2026, I have no mods and no cc. I tried with different high school builds, I tried repairing my game a million times, clearing the cache, making new saves, uninstalling the pack, reinstalling it, uninstalling my whole game, reinstalling it, I even cleared my computer and rebooted it in case it was an issue on my end... and nothing ever changes.
I bought this pack to experience playing in High School with my teens for the nostalgia, which is exactly what is advertised in this pack. Unfortunately, it is absolutely unplayable.
The "High School Day" event tasks are not functioning properly in an active school day. When a task is done, it does not "check" and go to the next one when it should but the in-game time still rolls. The event timer continues to pulse and sit on empty, and all the Sims are completely frozen until I manually end the school day, for which my sims are penalized. For example, the typical high school day ends at 3 pm but the task for the end of the high school day does not "update" until 5 pm. All the tasks for the day cumulates in time because of this and exceeds by an average of two in-game hours every single day, if not more.
Meanwhile, my teen sim is stuck where she is because the selected action (for example, socialize with a student) doesn't show up immediately like it should. When it does, it appears in the queue even if there is no other action before it... That is, IF it appears.
I kept hoping it would get patched with recent updates but it hasn't. Attached is a picture of my teen Sim in High School, waiting for the lunch period to end at 4:15 pm.
