[HSY] Homeless, unplayed teen sims never age up

Will someone look into this?

Just want to add a recent comment to this. I noticed this months ago and just recently again with multiple sims outside of the active household. As many people have said, and I can also say, it very much impacts legacy saves. If a fix can be implemented soon, that would be great.

I experienced this a long time ago, in my case there was three premade Sim who never aging up: Darling Walsh (CL), Tane Ngata (IL), Zelmira Gomes (LD).

Before I'm completely clueless what's make them not aging up, even tho Alexander Goth, Erik Loden, Zhafira Cahyaputri and all of HSY teens was succed aging up to YA. Then I noticed that three of them have same pattern: living status is homeless "Currently not in the world". After knew that, I tried some experiment:

1. Using mod Sim Control Hub to check age bar one of them (Tane Ngata), keep them controlled until next day. Result: fails aging up them. Then I controlled him to blow out candles manually (cuz I'm tired always see them in every prom night). I did the same to Darling Walsh, but no blow out candles, I did extreme way, lol. Shift click her and Cheat Sim Info and Age Up Sim.
2. Not using any mod, but I sent back Gomes household (that I dunno since when they moved out) to living in Ravenwood again. After next sim-day, Zelmira Gomes succed aging up. I know this because she was a teenagers club member from my played Sim.

So the conclusion is, this is because the teen Sim homeless. Maybe it's just a base game problem not tied to HSY.

The game is supposed to cull dead Sims after some time, no?

they stay as teens indefinitely until they're moved to a lot or my "favorite households". if I look up their age with MCCC, the number of days lived in the teen age is much higher than it should be. I play in long lifespan for multiple generations and I've caught sims that have been teens for over 300 days (out of 84)

Fixing immortal high school NPC students. Teen NPCs not living in the world that attend high school weren't aging up. This was particularly noticeable in multi-generational gameplay (e.g. classmate of parents is now classmate of child). We've added code to check for these Sims and appropriately age them up as you would expect compared to their classmates.
