[HSY] No graduation photo or diploma after attending graduation as inactive sim
I had two sims from different households attending high school together and both aged up within a day of each other. Graduation showed on both of their calendars for the upcoming Sunday. My plan was to take one to the ceremony and do the other one a week later, assuming that it would still be on the calendar.
Sunday comes and the travel to graduation pop up arrives right on time at 6pm and I have Alaina travel to the location. When she arrived I immediately noticed my other sim Morgan was there dressed in a cap and gown as well. I thought this was odd as they both achieved Valedictorian, and even stranger, there was another classmate there who was also tagged as Valedictorian too. The NPC was the one who gave the speech and immediately after that the diploma ceremony started, so neither of my sims was able to give their speech. Just a note as that is beside the main point.
My active sim was able to accept her diploma and also had her graduation portrait when she got back home. My inactive, but played sim Morgan, was able to accept his diploma as you can see in the screenshot, but afterwards when I saved and switched over to his household, he did not have a graduation portrait nor a diploma in his inventory. I am most concerned about him not receiving the portrait and how it can be obtained.
I have already had to age down and redo stuff twice already because of a super sibling bug and now that everything is fixed and an autonomous marriage proposal was accepted and wedding plans being made, I just can't go back again to fix this. Is there another way that the portrait can be obtained without using a mod?
Regardless, this is a problem that will affect many of my other growing sims as well. Many of them will be in the same class together, as many as four or more at a time.
I have all packs up to Adventure Awaits, no CC and I did have UI Cheats in the game when graduation occurred but no way to test with it removed since event completed.
