[HSY] Playing hooky moddlet for being at school before the school day starts

sent my teen sims to school early to work on the panting skill and when the school day starts i get the moddlet playing hooky even though i selected join to go to school with them. Edit By Crinrict...

Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- i was playing with mods and used ui cheats to remove moodlet. if i removed it before getting caught i think the rest of the day would go fine and i would get an end of day report. getting caught with the moddlet messed the would day up
- i turned mods off played in a new save with the price family and same thing happened
What platform are you playing ?
- pc
Did you have any phone calls from other Sims or made one to another teen that are called 'Play Hookey' ?
- no phone Calles from other sims but on the third day of this did get a call from the principle about missing school

To be sure I understand right what you mean by early: You sent the Sim to the lot before you got the go to school prompt ? Do you get the proper menu once school starts (well, the broken one) ?

Does it work properly if you wait for the prompt ?

yes i would go to the school lot before the prompt to join. i would then click join and the prompt would go away but then the sim would get the energized playing hooky moodlet.
everything seems to be working properly if i wait the only issue i run into is my sim never being able to pass exams but i don't think they are related.
