[HSY] Prom not taking place but is showing in calendar (Patch 1.116)

As stated I cant attend prom and haven't been able to since purchasing it a month ago. The whole DLC is a bit glitchy. Thus far I have been prompted to go to prom but when I select the sims I want to...

    Hi all,

    We believe this issue is due to the 'Allow Friendly Invites & Requests' setting being disabled in your Game Options.

    From Live Mode, please head into Game Options-> Gameplay and verify that you have Allow Friendly Invites & Requests enabled there.

    Once you’ve verified that this setting is enabled, Prom should appear normally in your calendar again.

     

    If Prom is not appearing on your calendar at all, please use this thread instead: [HSY] Prom disappears from Calendar

to be sure, you had the event in the calendar at some point ?

Do you have romantic invitations turned off ?

    Hey crinrict​ thanks for replying!☺️🤗

    I attached a picture of both. The event  shows up every Saturday on calendar. I also have romantic invites checked on. Although, I dont receive invites to prom anymore.

        Hey crinrict​ 👋😊 Good Afternoon 

        My sims haven't graduated yet, so I'm not sure but I've gotten the early graduation prompt. I've been playing for a minute and honestly haven't had graduation  come up now that I think about it. 

        I haven't experienced graduation, prom or career day. I do still have the original school director. 

        Now that we're talking its got me thinking I did rebuild the highschool although auditorm is still present. Do you think maybe thats having an effect? :/
