I have applied the latest update for the PC version (1.114.46.1030), but when I go to school on a day when a holiday is set, the high school tasks do not appear. Only the holiday tasks appear.

I have been having this issue as well but I have not followed my teens to high school as a precaution since the bug was first reported.
I think I have a suggestion for how EA can fix the bug: they can implement a new disciplinary system for the high school which involves a red "behavior" meter be placed below the green progress meter. Any romantic interactions between students or mean or mischievous interactions between sims while at the high school would increase the behavior meter. If the meter fills up, the student's school day would end immediately and they would be referred to the principal, who would impose a one-day suspension the first time that the meter is filled. If the meter fills a second time, the student would be expelled.
