I have applied the latest update for the PC version (1.114.46.1030), but when I go to school on a day when a holiday is set, the high school tasks do not appear. Only the holiday tasks appear.
I tried canceling the holidays, but this only resulted in the holiday tasks disappearing, and the high school tasks did not appear on that day. My grades were not displayed at the end of the day either.

I am also experiencing this issue. A solo teen going to high school has a holiday style pop up in the corner. I’ve removed all mods, deleted the cache files, repaired the game, tried with different Sims including newly made ones, and tried a new save file. All to no avail.
Same. Not happy about this UI Change. My tasks don't even update throughout the school day. I only get two tasks when my sim first shows up for school and they get marked as complete, but then nothing new pops up after that. Not as fun. What's funny, is that before my tasks just wouldn't be marked as done. Now they are but... those are the only tasks I will get...
Me too!! I never had this much issues before!! So i keep failling my school days with a bad grade, because i can;t see them.
I have been having this issue as well but I have not followed my teens to high school as a precaution since the bug was first reported.
I think I have a suggestion for how EA can fix the bug: they can implement a new disciplinary system for the high school which involves a red "behavior" meter be placed below the green progress meter. Any romantic interactions between students or mean or mischievous interactions between sims while at the high school would increase the behavior meter. If the meter fills up, the student's school day would end immediately and they would be referred to the principal, who would impose a one-day suspension the first time that the meter is filled. If the meter fills a second time, the student would be expelled.
This happens to me too. I literally can't send my teens to school without getting an LE at the end of the day. I hope this bug gets fixed soon because the teen aspirations are literally unplayable atm due to not being able to follow teens to school.
Since the update that changed the high school day to an event I have experienced the following issues; the event does not show up for more than one teen, I no longer know what time anything is and my teens are constantly late to lessons, increased difficulty on making my teens a good or bad student as there are no continuous tasks throughout the school day. Tasks show they are completed when they haven't been and incomplete when they have been completed, no school day event shows when there is a holiday event already on.
Today's patch seems to have returned the UI to previous specifications, but this bug seems to remain.
