[HSY] ThriftStore: Notification Spam for events/No customers

I tested this the other day and it worked fine for me but I didn't have a event triggering at the time.

It was an existing save I tested and it did have events before but I didn't play it while the bug was going on.

Could you test if the first event is the trigger for this and if you have customers in a new save for testing purposes ?

Yes. I also noticed some weird behavior with the street vendor in the Tea Shop neighborhood, so definitely needs a vanilla test.

I'm not sure what triggers this. Not a problem in a new test Save, but when I pulled out a couple of random older saves from backup - that I didn't remember seeing this in - the events spammed just as they are in my current save. The only time I visit a Tea Shop is when my Elderly Cheer Squad meets there. 

A while back I had this problem with GF lounge events. My solution then was the remove all the lounges and not put them back until I'd played through all me households. Neither the game nor I seemed to miss them. So... I've deleted all (two) tea shops from my regular save and we'll see what happens.  The Cheer Squad will have to meet at a Rec Center.

Maybe the problem is I usually just ignore lounge and tea shop events. 🤷‍♀️

When the events Comedy Night or Poetry Night take place, the 4 contestants and my sims will spawn at the thrift tea venue. But the vendor is missing as well as the owner Eloise Hiddlestix. There also isn't any audience or thrifting customers or whatever else. Just the five of us. Those 4 npc contestants don't perform at all. My sim will autonomously go to the mic as soon as the event starts but after this, nothing happens anymore. But as soon as the event is over at 8pm, the vendor, the owner and many customers start to arrive.

The OpenMicNightZoneDirectors are missing those data for all those additional sims. I cannot imagine that this was intended by EA. It's just not working like any irl contest. Please fix this. I would love to have a fun night at the thrift store with lots of sims and working npc contestants.

This might also effect the lounge and karaoke (open mics) events too. But I didn't test those as of now.

Stats: PC, all packs, no mods, game version 1.114.46.1030

I have the exact same issue. No vendor, no appearance of any customers apart from the contestants, and the competition noticed are spammed repeatedly.

I have this problem as well, it is always poetry night and the vendor or customers don't show up.

Seem to be a problem only for poetry/comedy night, that the vendor don't turn up or any customers.

This seems to be the case for me as well. On both Wednesday and Thursday no vendor or customers would spawn, but on Friday for the Fashion Show, all sims showed up with no issues.
