[IL] Mermaid tail is invisible

tried today without mods and cc and its also happening some friends of me have that problem not i dont understand why i have it

So I have a few Mermaids and now, everytime they go in water they have no Mermaid tail, just their torso swimming around,there isn't even a mermaid tail shadow, just a torso shadow.

I did go into CAS and added the mermaid tail back, she now has the tail in Live mode as well. So it worked for me.

Same here. But my sims tail disappeared after she got pregnant. Her daughter also doesn't have a tail. It is happening to every mermaid in game. 

Hello! I am also having this issue. I only had one merperson affected, so I went into CAS and redid his tail. Then, I went into live mode, and the tail was there. He went to take a bath, and then the tail disappeared again. I went back and forth a few times and finally got it to stay on him. HOWEVER, now the rest of his family is missing their tails. This happened after the patch on February 25th. They were fine before then. I want to add that I tried different tails, and they all disappeared before I ultimately gave up.

My mermaid lost his tail when a child in the household aged up to teen and I edited her in CAS. I went to CAS and gave him back his tail and it's all good now, but there's definitely still a bug there.

The problem persists. We are awaiting a decision .

I have this error too. I returned the tail to my character, but when I re-entered the CAS, the tail was missing again. He's in life mode, but he's not in character creation mode.

I have only found closed instances of this issue. Needs reopened.

Mermaid in question is Paka'a Uha. I haven't edited him in any way in this save that has only seen a mermaid in Sulani the very first time. Pics attached.

Mermaid tail is invisible on sim in CAS as well. Switching between forms don't seem to refresh state of tail. After applying tail in CAS tail looks fine, then disappears as entering back to living mode.

I don't know if it's worth mentioning previously the issue was a young adult trait? Also I don't know if this is CAS, or graphics related.
