[IL] Mermaid tail is invisible

My Sim recently married Nalani and I'm having this issue with Nalani as well. I hope it gets fixed soon, because they just had a mermaid daughter together.

Any Fix already its beein 4 months EA!!!!!!

mermaids sim has an invisible tail in the pool and the sea. I dont use cc for the mermaids.

The tail keeps disappearing, even after i go into CAS to put it back. Can still do very thing normally, there is just no visible tail.   

Well, I was playing normally with a ocult mermaid sim when I noticed that her tail was not showing when she was in the bathtub and later in pools and oceans. I went to CAS and she was invisible from the waist down as shown in the images. The swimming animation is invisible and I can no longer see her tail while swimming or in any other activity that involves her transformation as a mermaid. It's strange because until yesterday (06/29) it was normal. I've already restarted the save and even changed the character to another mermaid and it's still the same.

Clearly a LOT of people are seeing this, and it doesn't seem hard to reproduce. But it's not even on the laundry list yet?

since this latest update (July 1) i've started to have this issue with 2 of my 3 mermaid sims. I have this issue with or without mods on PC

Mermaids already had so little, this new bug just hurts

Ever since the July 1 update, the bottom half of my mermaid sims have just...disappeared? Both in-game and in CAS.

I have 3 mermaid sims in my household and it's happening to 2 out of the 3.

This is happening with or with mods (i tried both). I am also playing on PC though i did notice this is an issue for some console players as well.

Just wanted to add that even after re-assigning the tail, it disappears again in live mode after some playing. I play rotationally, have fixed all my mermaids tails (taking quite some effort as I had to find photos of how they looked before, to be able to recreate them again) - and now after playing another households for a bit and coming back most of my mermaids are missing their tail again :( 

Not fun to play with mermaids right now :(
