I have a sim that I am getting her to do odd jobs via the computer. When it is selected and then comes to the time, many times she does not go to the job and it just cancel saying Critical...
Ideas
This keeps happening to me too. My Sim has all the correct skill levels, but every time there is a high paying job, this happens. I'm now down to 2 stars.
Hello Hoppers1077 If you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
I don't use any mods or cheats, I play on playstation.

could you post a screenshot of the message you're getting ?
I will try to video it. Any other job and my Sim goes straight to it. With the high paying jobs nothing happens, the job deletes itself from the schedule and a message appears in the notifications. It says 'critical error' and then goes on about the client being unhappy she didn't fulfil her role.
It was a high paid job. Skill was cooking level 1, she is level 4. It was due to start at 02:00. At 02:00 the job disappeared from her schedule and left this in the notifications.

thanks for the pic. I was expecting some kind of error message so the screenshot is very helpful.
Guess if they don't go, that explains the failure.
