The recent update listed the following two fixes as being included:
- Sims will now clean up bottles that were left on the ground. We also decreased how frequently Infants will be hungry. Between these two changes, we hope to have addressed the community feedback around bottles being left everywhere. (Basegame)
- Sims will now clean up diapers left on the floor after changing an Infant or Newborn (as long as a trash can is nearby). This keeps some of the intended messiness while reducing frustration. (Base Game)
However, there has been 0 change in how my game operates. Any bottles or diapers will remain on the floor regardless of how close to a sink/trash can my sim is unless I drag the item to the receptacle or direct my sim to pick them up.
Additionally, if my infant sim is in a different room from the changing table, and I click on the changing table directly to direct a parent to "change diaper" for the infant, why does it not default to taking the infant to the changing table? Why does it default to just changing the infant and leaving the diaper on the floor?? It's been a super annoying flaw ever since Growing Together was released.
