Invited in the Welcome Wagon but they hate me once the event timer ends

have you tried what happens if you trash the fruit cake right away ? Does it matter which neighborhood you play in ?

multiple neighborhoods, I haven't tried throwing it away but it does happen with the alternative welcome wagon food too.

Would be just to test if that's the cause of the issue your seeing.

If it still happens without them eating it, there's probably something else going on.

Never seen this happen in my game.

So after further testing, they still lose relationship if I get rid of the food. However, I had two saves in which only one sim showed up in the welcome wagon, the sim didn't bring food and the bug didn't appear (no relationship loss).

There's an issue with the ones in Ravewood: [LD] Welcome Committee fails despite interacting with neighbors | EA Forums - 11975369 but you said it was all neighborhoods, right ?

I had it happen several times in Ravenwood, Chestnut Ridge and once in Windenburg as well. The two saves I mentioned earlier, (only one sim arrived with no food) were in Willow Creek/Oasis Springs.

Should I try each one individually? I can, but it will take awhile.

Not sure what's going on for you as it seems tied to the food for you. 

Going to put this on review so Maxis can look into it further. Maybe others are also seeing the same and could chime in.
