When I grow crops, I generally store them in the Ornate Beauty until I want them for nectar making. Drag from inventory to the ornate beauty has been working fine for two sim years (eight 7 day seasons) in my current save. However, I discovered that dragging from the Ornate Beauty to my inventory is not working right. The first item will drag fine, but then the game automatically tries to drag another item out of storage and I can't place it in my inventory or back into the Ornate Beauty. I'm stuck not being able to get the item that is trying to automatically drag until I go to build/buy mode. Then I go back in the game and drag doesn't work for ANYTHING out of a storage device (ICYA chest, ornate beauty, refrigerator). The images in the chest and fridge make doubles of themselves, if you understand what I mean.
If I do something like drag a dish to the fridge or the dishwasher, it works and for some reason the drag from a chest/fridge starts working again, but the glitch hits after the second drag. I deleted cache files and repaired the game and it's still happening. Previously in this save I have dragged food out of the fridge for toddlers with no problem. This only started happening today in the game and seems to be related to dragging items from a storage area TO a sim's inventory. Dragging from the sim's inventory has not caused this problem in the past. I have all the game updates and almost every EP and pack (not so much with the kits). I know this was an issue in July and there was a patch to fix it. I haven't experienced this particular issue before today, but I haven't tried dragging anything out of a chest into a sim's inventory since the last patch in the beginning of December, either. I have never used CC or mods and I play on a Windows 11 gaming PC.
