When selecting or placing items in build mode the item disappears and unselects. Ocassionally with repeated trying I am able to place an item but with many times selecting it and clicking it down quickly. I uninstalled all mods and am still having this issue. My game is up to date with the most recent 5/12/26 update.

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
Build mode objects and glitching and disappearing before placing down. I’m on a MacBook pro. Please help Sims!

Happens without mods also. It keeps happening in my builds, no mods.
When I want to place different objects in bb they disappear before I can buy them. It takes different numbers of choosing other options like "delete", "duplicate" and so on and then it works.
I did several restarts and also start it without mods but it doesn't change anything. The bug is still there...
Is there anybody with the same problem? And maybe with a solution?
so when i’m in build mode if i click on almost anything to place it, it just resets and sends me back to the catalog?? i’m building a kid’s room and everything i tried to click and drag from the catalog just acted like i never clicked anything. like sometimes it takes 1 millisecond for it to disappear. i actually can’t play build mode at all thanks to this so YAY another update ruining my thousand dollar game! 🙃
After updating my game, I went to make changes to on my lot. I started to sell some bathroom items and copy some others, build walls and place doors. Well, all of the sudden, those items started to disappear or just won't place where I want them (of course the spot is green, so I know it can be placed there). I have restarted the game, even restarting my computer, but to no avail. This issue just keeps happening. This issue will now make it harder playing certain game packs if I can't decorate or build.

There’s something wrong with my game where whenever I attempt to place any furniture, it immediately deletes. I also cant change wallpaper or save the game, and I have to force quit the app any time I want to leave it. I have quite a few mods/cc, but I’ve updated all of them, removed them and tried to get it to work without them, deleted the cache… I don’t know why this is happening or what I can do to fix it. I am also a relatively newer player, so sorry if the fix is something obvious that I didn't think of. Is anyone else experiencing this/have any ideas on how to fix it?
