After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top...

I have to keep restarting my game when I build because when I am building at some point during building everything stops working. I can’t paint walls and I try to use the sledgehammer but it doesn’t work. I’ve been having this problem for almost a year now.
