After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top...

I've been having this issue since downloading the new Business & Hobbies EP. I removed all Mods & CC before installing, and hadn't used any with the new pack because the Mods hadn't been updated. I can select one item and place it, but after that any item I select it disappears within seconds. I cannot move furniture either. The only way to reset it is to go back to Live mode. In order to build you would have to be flicking back and forth between Live & Build to place each item, it's ridiculous.
THIS is the issue I'm having too. This original post is 6 months old and it's not what I'm experiencing but what you said IS what I'm experiencing and I too have been experiencing this since the latest expansion.
I think if they did a better job at organizing bug posts then they would have these bugs worked out better. I made a post about this today and it was deleted and then I was referred here.. to this 6 month old post that doesn't really relate to my issue except the fact it's a build mode problem. Doubt they even check old posts. Makes no sense to post on an old post that is different from the problem we are having... I hope I'm proven wrong or I hope someone decides to do something about it just to spite me, at least then something will be done lol.
