After I place one item the next item I select won't place, it flips back to where it was previously, or is carries around by my mouse indefinitely. I found by clicking a different tool across the top like the eyedropper then going back to the select tool it will let me place another item, but only one. Then click on the eyedropper again and back to the select tool, for each item I need to move or place.

I've been having issues with the game as well since this update. Noteably, when I'm in the build/buy process of a home, there are moments where I am unable to apply new changes to homes, such as applying new wallpapers, deleting stairs, etc. Added to this when I try to save my progress, the game appears to break entirely, giving me the "saving" indicator for over 10 mins. I have no mods installed at all, and I have cleared the image cache recently. Judging by the number I've people I've seen having these issues, I don't think this is a user error, and is just a faulty patch that needs to be fixed asap.
Making a full post about this since I made a post in an existing thread and it got deleted by someone (cough), so just starting a discussion. Since the new update I've noticed a big issue with build/buy. Each time I boot up the game, after about 15 mins of attempting to build a home, normal build/buy functions stop working properly. Items do not delete, wallpaper does not properly apply, and any progress that is made cannot be saved without the game freezing up. I have no mods installed and I've tried repairing the game, but that did not fix the issue. Is anyone else having this problem?
I am playing on PS4 and I have no mods, game is updated to newest version. When I go to place an item in build buy mode it will disappear before I have the chance to place it or even look at it in my build.
This is happening again now after the 8/19 update. I've gone through the extremely long process of updating/deleting bad mods. I've done the 50/50 method at least twice. I'm not saying it's not a mod causing this I just have no idea how to determine that.
I was also having this same issue! I updated the game today and bought the new kits that released on August 21 to find out that my game won't let me build anything. I don't use mods or cc. I downloaded a lot on the Gallery and after moving 1 item, I couldn't move anything else. Bulldozing the lot did not do anything. I even tried building and bulldozing a base game lot (Crick Cabana), but it did the same thing. I opened the Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del) to end the EA App and all of a sudden it seems to work just fine now. I was even able to build a small container home with no issues. Weird glitch, I hope it doesn't happen again.
