Items in toddler inventory are getting moved to caregiver

I don't play with mods or cc, i play on pc

Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.

are you still having issues with this after the patch ?

My toddler sims inventory keeps somehow going into the adult parent sim inventory. I keep having to drag everything back to the toddlers inventory. Every single item every few minutes. 

Play on PC via EA app, no MOD/CC, version 1,121.342, with a folder created Jan/29/2026

All items including for event disappeared from toddler's inventory. Though looked for the parents' inventory, nothing in their inventory. Father's co-worker visited and hanged out before day. The co-worker played with the toddler too. So, before I quite the game, checked co-worker's inventory. (He is the one of the pre-made Sims.)

The lost items were in his inventory.

He is just father's co-worker, not caregiver.

Although the item wasn't moved to the caregiver, I'm posting here because I'm experiencing the same symptoms of items disappearing from my toddler sim's inventory.

Experiencing the same with a toddler x3 times now in yesterday and today's play session. Never happened before. Nothing changed apart from installing Royalty-EP and patch. The toddler in question is a spellcaster and daughter of the current Noble and in a dynasty. Thus far I think all items have appeared in other household members' inventories, and the glimmerstone got recreated sometime in the toddler's inventory. Very weird.
