When your sim is invited to "something crazy going on down at _____" it keeps going to the graveyard in Ravenwood even when the stated location is the ruins or the von haunt estate. Also, when you go to the graveyard rave, no rave items appear on lot (dj booth, bar ect). I had to place them myself, otherwise everyone just stood around at the gate.

Ruins party happens at Graveyard. multi occurrences, been while that i've seen the phonecall bt ignored invite bcs location bug. tried today, hoped to be fixed. cannot travel to correct location either as "__ can't travel bcs there is a Social Event going on."

Hello sims team. I've also experienced this bug. I received this invitation. As you see in this screenshot, it shows that a party is happening at the Chalet (in Windenburg). But directly under that paragraph, the venue is differently stated as "Cemetery: Eternal Hollow" in Ravenwood.
And true enough, when I clicked OK, the sims were transported to the cemetery.
They could at least dance at the bonfire, I guess.

This happens to me too. No mods or cc. Every single party takes my Sims to the "Cemetery: Eternal Hollow." When will this issue be fixed?

Same here. Still....for over a year now. Like **bleep**. I hope a creator mentions it in a video because thats the only way things actually get addressed by EA

My game is not in English so I don't know if it makes a difference, but the call asking you out to e.g. check out the Ruins lets me think that we are about to go to the Ruins and then the game takes you to a cemetery. Pretty creepy and not intended as there are four Base Game "goDancing_ComplexSituation_Club_PartyGoer*" tunings for different purposes. The first is the standard version ("GoDancing_ComplexSituation_Club_PartyGoer") and takes you to many different venues (cemetery included) and that is of course alright.
But besides the standard one there are 4 additional ones claiming to be one venue type only:
As the tuning names suggest those should only take you to their associated venues and NOT to a cemetery. The cemetery was added as compatible venue by mistake to those four.
I do get what you're saying and it's alright to except this as like a "surprise invite" from an NPC. But there is a standard version for this dance party invite to a cemetery and the other "only" versions still need correction. It's not game breaking but still annoying if the game takes you to the wrong lot, which you maybe not prepared enough to host an enjoyable dance party.
Jan 25 2026 Long time bug that never makes it to The Laundry List. Party at the cemetery is not fun. No DJ and everyone stands around the cemetery gates. I miss the chateau and bluffs parties.
Goes for me too double. No mods. New save. After today's update issue still happening. I got invited to the bluffs & got dumped at the cemetery in Ravenwood.
