[LD] Reaper: Dead Sim stuck standing on lot

While I was at Oasis Springs for a reaping assignment, my sim was taken to an empty lot where four sims were standing on the sidewalk and the street. 2 were witnesses, 1 had a plea, and the other was dead. However, the dead sim was not a ghost, and they were not lying on the ground, dead. The sim was standing and smiling. I clicked on the "dead" sim, and nothing came up allowing my sim to reap the soul. He was able to collect witness statements and was able to listen to a plea. After he denied the sim's plea to save the other sim, I was unable to have him reap the soul. 

I do not use mods, I no longer have any CC in the game, I have repaired it via EA App, and I have the latest patch and update. Seasons, Get to Work, and Life and Death are the only expansion packs I have. I am also using Realm of Magic and Strangerville. The rest of the content/packs are kits. I have also cleared out the cache folder and rebooted the game. Still have the issue with the sim not being able to reap souls.

I’m having a similar issue with reaping where sometimes my dead sims are just standing there, and sometimes I can still collect their souls, but just now I wasn’t able to. In the most recent instance, they were laying down dead when I arrived on the lot, but then 2/4 dead sims stood back up once I reaped the soul of a cowplant. Afterwards, I couldn’t interact with those two sims anymore (other two were fine) and I ended up having to end my work day early because I couldn’t progress or go anywhere. (No witnessed btw, on xbox no so mods or cc, and lot was one of the new lots from enchanted by nature but I’ve had issues with multiple lots that arent world specific)

I am still running into this issue a couple of months later. Still not using mods and did have a few CC, but those are long gone, and my game is once again "vanilla". The game is not updated with the latest patch, and I am currently playing offline mode to prevent the update until the patch is fixed. My sim is on a lot in Magnolia Promenade. He is still in the Reaper career and needs to collect a soul, but cannot because the supposed dead sim is still standing and moving around. That sim is an elder sim. I have completed all of the other tasks, but still cannot collect the soul. I also cannot return to the office until the soul is collected. This bug is affecting gameplay negatively and needs to be fixed. I have tried everything else on my end. This is at the game's end. The bug continues to happen even if my sim is not attached to any occults. He is currently a spellcaster. 

Edited to add that I cannot interact with the dead sim at all, even after resetting the sim multiple times. 

I'm experiencing this glitch too, and many others with the reaper career. I have no mods. This career is only playable like half the time. Wish there was a fix, as this is the whole reason I bought the expansion in the first place. 

The only solution I found was to move the family out of the residential lot the dead sim was stuck in. 

I've experienced this multiple times today. I tried moving the family with the dead Sim to a different residential lot, but it just spawned a different family, and a different dead Sim was also just standing outside. I can’t click on the dead Sim to 'Revive Sim' or 'Collect Soul.' It's frustrating to be stuck here with no options to return to the office. I’ve already tried resetting the dead Sim using the Reset Object (Debug), but they remain unclickable. I also tried repairing the game through the EA App, but the issue persists.

I get more problems like this when I start a save in a save that has all NPC and Lots erased at the start.

Sorry, just saw this, but nope. Standing the entire time on that lot. I know on different lots, sometimes the sims glitch and stand up before reverting back to their laying down state, but it always seems to be in this state with this current lot

This career is completely unplayable for me. 10 months since they labeled this "under investigation" lmao. It's not getting fixed. Why would they fix it? We already gave them the money.
