[LD] Reaper: Dead Sim stuck standing on lot

I'm playing the reaper career with Tomax Colette and whenever he gets one of those events where he has to investigate four dead people one to four of them are standing and idling and cannot be selected and therefore cannot have their souls collected. I've tried resetting the people with testing cheats and I am now just stuck in an event waiting for my work day to end because they are perfectly healthy looking except the fact that the red text on their name says dead.

I have some small mods like selecting leftovers but I don't have any that would impact careers.

I am also having this issue, it actually happens the majority of the time, no matter the lot.

I have no cc or Mods installed, playing on Windows through the EA app. 

I experienced this issue today.  One of four sims is standing, reset does nothing, unable to progress work day.  I didn't experience this until updating the game today.  

Dead sim not acting dead. Unable to reap the sim's soul. Second time this issue has come up for me. Restarting or repairing the game does not help. Nor does resetting the Sim in question. 

Got this glitch today. It's happened sort of before, but they would be unresponsive and bugged for a few seconds before teleporting and acting how they're supposed to.  Now it won't budge. I've exited to menu, exited the game entirely, reset the sim multiple times via shift click and the console. I also selected the "collect soul" option if it's worth anything.

To add onto this bug in my experience:

The pleading sim was able to plea for me, but the dead sim is still bugged and standing.
My version is 1.121.361.1020. No mods or CC installed. All DLCs/packs installed as well.
I've tried resetting the dead sim via console and shift click debug, exiting to main menu, exiting the game entirely and rebooting it. None worked.
Oddly enough, all of the emotional assignments had a similar bug from my experience.  The dead sim would be standing but after a few seconds they would teleport to where they should be and act dead. For the current one, it won't seem to go to where it should be and remains unresponsive.

in the reaper career when i go on a mission to collect a soul the sim that should be dead isn't dead i can collect witness statements but thats about it
