There seems to be a bug in my "Life and Death". When the God of Death is on duty, one of the tasks is Find the Lost Soul. The prompt is to collect the soul beads at the place of duty. But!! I went out twice, once to a park and once to an open space, but there was not a soul pearl! There was none! I even searched the public areas, but there was none too! ! Have any other players encountered the same situation?

I just made a similar post about being sent to a lot to collect souls and close fissures, and there were only fissures with no souls to collect no matter where I looked or how far I zoomed in. I included pictures of the lot in my post which can be found here. I have no mods installed. I have tried clearing the cache and restarting the game to no effect.
I still have the same issue I have been to two of these events now and no souls to be seen.
I couldn't find any souls, and there was no option to collect soul on the one ghost that was on the lot. after twenty or thirty minutes of turning off all mods, etc, I got fed up, and was going to have my sim (a ghost) interact with one of the regular sims that spawned just outside the lot itself in a little huddle, and had the collect soul option. I wound up being able to collect all the souls that way. I'm not sure if my sim being a ghost has anything to do with it or if it's just a weird happenstance, but I hope this info helps someone else.
I have this issue too i always sent my sim alone but i also was able to skip ahead of few promotions because of my sims skills being maxed and im looking around everywhere like some looney crackhead going “WHERE IS IT” even clicking on random sims 😂🥲
Hi ik this is much later but I was having the same issue where souls were not spawning on the lots but the netherworld fissure were!
I then clicked on the NPC sims cus they were kind of just standing around and I had the option to collect their souls(w/ different styles like flamboyant).
So my suggestion if you don’t see the soul pearls, check to see if any of the nearby NPC sims are able to be collected. Not sure if it’s a glitch or what but I basically killed 5 sims instantly by collecting their souls.
Having the same issue. Supposed to find ghosts and collect their souls. There are no ghosts. I successfully found ghost once before, but not now.
