There seems to be a bug in my "Life and Death". When the God of Death is on duty, one of the tasks is Find the Lost Soul. The prompt is to collect the soul beads at the place of duty. But!! I went out twice, once to a park and once to an open space, but there was not a soul pearl! There was none! I even searched the public areas, but there was none too! ! Have any other players encountered the same situation?

still no soul spawn.
I also couldn't find lost souls to collect, but there were few random sims just standing in the front of the house, and when I clicked on them, there was an option collect the soul. It didn't appear on any other sims on the lot, only on this little group, so it looked like those souls appeared as sims for some reason. After collecting/reaping their souls (of these sims, who weren't even ghosts), task to "collect lost souls" was completed and they appeared in my inventory.
Hello currently having this issue and didn't have it before the latest update. I removed all my mods and CC and it didn't fix it as well as repairing the game
Ok, so the no souls thing happened to me just now, but then I find a group of people off to the side and even tho they're not dead, it wants me to take their souls. So, if anyone is stuck look for a group of people! That's what you're supposed to do!
Yeah, I just had this issue. No ghosts on lot, but there were a group of five non-ghost "living" sims--three of them premades, including Aeris Chavis-Ralston--who had an option of being reaped.
I do understand that they are just pixels, and also I was previously asked to reap Mimsy and Bernard and they appear to be fine and showed up on other lots later. That said, no, I will not reap a living sim child. Yikes. No.
Luckily UI cheats cleared the task for me and I was able to continue.
