[LD] Sim can't discuss Fear of Death/Discuss fear of horse instead

My reborn Sim has the fear of death trait, but the discuss fear option is not showing up on either elders or ghosts. At this point she's befriended several ghosts and elders, but it just never comes ...

I have all of the packs (except the Star Wars one) and no mods or CC. My vampire sim cannot discuss her fear of death with ghosts or elders. The option never shows up. I am guessing that it bugged out because she previously had another fear (fear of failure I think) and once that fear was overcome the conversation menu never updated properly.
