Happens most of the time. I complete all tasks on assignment on reaper career, until it only says return to office as a task. Then, option to return to office does not appear when I click on my sim. Have tried resetting my sim and it still does not appear.

so i have the same issue the point of carrer level number i dont know but the title is soul slayer promo req: lvl 4 thanatology and 5 souls pay 77/hr gold medal for work done after trying the reset sim cheat even that hadnt helped cant save as its warning me of a dying sim.
I have this problem too. How can you advance in career if you can't return to office? when I try it says sim can't travel while at work
Recently found a fix for this problem. If you switch control to a different sim in your household and then switch back to the sim that is at work for the reaper career will then have the option to travel back to the office.
"Return to office" interaction is now available on the Reaper when on assignments in Reaper career.
Fixed in Patch 1.119.109/2.23
