[LDSP] No washing machine on lot although there is

This issue has mainly been fixed so a few questions

• What's your game version (main menu, lower right corner) ?
• Are you using mods/cc ?
• What lot type is your Sim living on ?
• Did you have any power-shut down ?

Yes, I noticed that too.  I have to get a new laundry machine. Even if I end up putting it in the household inventory, it won't reset.  not even reset object works on it.  maybe if you break the machine and have it replaced.  you can use sabotage, much safer than pyro.

Are you guys playing on a residential rental and have the machine in a shared space ?

When you use the washing machine, with no upgrades, it become inoperable after 2 or 3 uses. You click the laundry basket and choose Washer but it's grey. The only thing you can do is to buy another machine. My sims have bought 5 machines in 3 sims seasons. I started only doing laundry when absolutely necessary to save money.

I have had this bug for years! I always have to do the same thing. Either I delete all the laundry baskets, or sometimes it has to be the washing machine! I do not use mods, only custom content for creating Sims and five overrides. I think this error happens when hiring the maid. Because when I dismiss the maid, I go a long time without the bug appearing. I do not know if it is a coincidence or not.

I have removed my mods folder and tried deleting and rebuying, moving the laundry machines to my household inventory, and then placed back in the house. Nothing I have tried has made the other laundry options besides Upgrade available. I searched and couldn't find an existing bug report for this specific problem so that is why I am making this post.

I tested this on my mom's computer and she plays a completely vanilla game and has the same issue.
