Do you have this with all your Sims or just a specific Sim or household ? If it's just a specific one it could be something related to the Sims inventory so could you try this

Move all the inventory items that you want to keep to another Sim or into the world
Make sure the Sim with the issue is selected
open the cheat console and type inventory.purge

Make sure to make a backup of your game before attempting.
