Following the advice, I tried to move one Sim's inventory to another Sim, but the inventory was huge so I cleared the household Sim's inventory with a cheat command.
In that state, I tried the same queue. However, the medicine was not in the inventory and a symbol saying it couldn't be done appeared, leaving me at a loss.
Of course, I made a backup and removed the mod before trying this.
