I'm also experiencing overlap! It's hard to tell whose kids are whose, and depending on whom I view the tree from, a portrait may completely cover another portrait. It leads to a gross visual bug of making it look like one of my sims is married to an infant. I don't even mod for teen/YA relationships in my game, much less adult/infant!
I've included views of the family tree based on two different members of the family, taken on different in-game days. I even tried zooming all the way in to see if maybe that would
