[LLQE] Regal Romancer: Multiple Notification about Property Value drop/increase

I’m having this same issue. No mods/cc. The animations/notifications repeatedly go back and forth so my sims can’t do anything. It’s fine after I remove the lot trait. I’ve tried it several times since I’ve gotten the trait and it always does the same thing.

The title of this topic needs correcting. It currently reads "Regal Romancer" (which is a Noble career reward trait). It should read "Regal Residence" (the lot trait).

I found a fix through some trial and error. You'll need to have cheats enabled for this. On your affected Sims, enter the following cheat code.

Traits.remove_trait regalresidence

Yes exactly, I’ve kicked people out and removed the trait and nothing has changed. I can’t bear starting again so I’m just not playing at the moment and hoping for a fix! Really disappointed to see there wasn’t one in this patch.

Hye, this is happening to me right now, seeing this forum i disabled the trait because it kept giving constant notifs, messing with my sims, and confetti galore on my whole household constantly.

I have removed the lot that originally had the trait (removing the trait didn't work), and made the household homeless—and I am still getting this. But 1 ex-member is in my active household... did it somehow become a Sim locked trait?

Between this bug and one other, I am tempted to re-try with a new clean save... but I prefer a fix (or worry it will stay).

This bug also happens to be. It may or may not have started when I had Stay Over guests over (since I did have a stay over very soon after first using the lot trait), but it has not stopped since. I also still get the notifications and moodlets from the regal residence lot trait even when I am on different lots which do not have that lot trait, which is very irritating to me since the strong happy +3 moodlet means my sims are constantly hysterical since they like the decor + have a close relationship with someone nearby (playful) + live in a regal residence. 

I had this notification yesterday, it was every real life second, and stopped my sim from being able to do anything as they kept having a celebration animation every time it appeared, so they were asleep, it went onto ultra speed, when they woke they spent a good few minutes catching up on celebrations unable to get them to move, had to turn off the lot trait.... Not really a fix as it certainly shouldn't act like that I'm sure
