My maid is just not showing up. I tried cancelling and re-requesting the service, but that did not solve the issue. I do not get charged for the visit either. Playing on PC on a save that had mods in the past, but they are now uninstalled.
Also, apologies if there was a thread for this already, I was only able to find a related thread that was reported as having already been fixed.
I am having the same exact issue. I bulldozed the lot and replaced the house. I have left the lot and came back. I cancel the service and rehire. Nothing works. And with 2 babies and running a business the hosue gets dirty fast. It sucks this doesn't work.
Feb 28 2026 Same. Maid not showing up. Not charged.
Last night I tested and used the phone to order Pizza Delivery. Got a text box that it was on the way. Nope. Pizza delivery didn't show up.
I guess I could test further by calling for a Nanny, Repairman and Grocery Delivery?
Related? I am also not receiving mail. Haven't seen a mailman in awhile. Haven't paid bills. No consequences. I tried a new mailbox. Still no mail.

One commenter in the Mail thread suggested:
....rename your mods folder and try a new save. If that doesn't work try moving the sims 4 folder to you desktop. documents\electronic arts\the sims 4. The game will generate a new folder whilst your mods, saves and tray files will still be untouched on your desktop. you can move these back after you try a new save to see if the problem persists.
