I spent time using the various sliders on eyeshadows, blushes, and lipsticks etc. to get the aesthetic I wanted for the sim. I save. Then I exit create a sim. Both the sim and the icon in the bottom left have the correct colour swatches, but all of their makeup is at full colour and intensity. This has been happening for over a month (approximately when the Enchanted Nature Pack was released and I installed it). I have played multiple households and even started a new save file. I have repaired my game more than once for other technical issues. I do not have any mods. I am on a PC laptop. These are all EA-created makeup swatches.
It would be good if you could post screenshots to help to see what is occurring in your game.
Someone has added screenshots, do you have the documentation you need?

Yes, that is what is happening. I upvoted the original. I don't have before photos; I only have after photos. I will take before and after photos on the next sim I make.
