Same thing. Once the bartender starts doing tricks you can't order a drink. When you hire them for parties a lot of the time they will join a conversation and sit down and don't work so I reset them. Many times I've ordered "Drinks for everyone" and they start doing it but then the action gets cancelled by the game.
