Ideas
For every bug EA squashes, 10 more appear after each update/fix. Maybe they should come up with a “EA sponsored programmer” for modders to get paid to fix the game.
I’ve spent thousands of Brazilian reais purchasing every single pack. I feel so robbed for spending so much money on a broken game. Such a shame it is so addictive.
Less packs, more fixes!
I think in the last year or so it's gotten a lot worse, before there were glitches with specific packs ( My wedding stories mess) but now also basic game mechanics ( drag and drop, pregnancy, arriving home from work at different times, missing ceilings , autonomy being out of wack) are greatly affected. I think they are using more AI now to write code and to test games, and it's messing up big time.
I mean, the pregnancy code is never touched, not since the start of Sims4. Why is it suddenly just having gaps? How does that happen?

DarkSimzzz Only the devs know for sure, but if I were a betting man I’d put some money on basal changes having unexpected butterfly effects. Didn’t they say something about memory optimization in one of the changelogs, not long ago? Methinks meddling with stuff like that can have side effects that ordinary QA wouldn’t catch in time before release.
But if they’re using artificial stupidity, then all hope is lost. 😔 Let’s be thankful our strawberries still have 3 Rs in them.[ETA: “this change [to how pregnancy works] was made as part of tech optimizations”; DUDE, I feel ✨ seen ✨.]

Yeah 'a modder' said they removed something to do with 'object status test' that the pregnancy mod uses. I think maybe that's also connected to what is happening with the excessive moodlets and ailments. They reverted the pregnancy thing thankfully though. Ordinary QA would be to play with a family and check for like 30 minutes if everything works ( like going to work and pregnancy). If they are making huge changes to how the underlying system works you would expect them to do more than the usual amount of testing. Like for a new feature you would just mostly test that feature.
That went wrong btw too when they changed how spoiled food looks in the sims inventory...and then you couldn't drag it from the inventory into the trash. Why wouldn't you test that?
