Mixologist behind bar, but not tending it, unavailable for orders

Since the August 19th update, any time my Sims try to interact with a bar in public (order a drink, order favorite, order food, etc), the interaction simply does not work. They go up to the bar, sit down, and then the interaction cancels. I have tested this in multiple saves and households. No mods/CC ever.
