I've posted on this thread before about the bartender issue, but I had a separate one to what I had said just recently. I hired a bartender for a party, and he never ran the bar. He just wandered around the party. I ended up having to make my Sims make the drinks for themselves, which didn't even give them the party reward despite them having drank them (I made a separate thread about that).
