This is my main beef with the game right now. I am having same issues, forget about going to the bar, but for me there is a workaround. Most of my sims have at least a few skill pts in mixology and I am having them go behind the bar and mix drinks. If the bartender won't move, like in H on B, sometimes you can order a drink from the sim. Of those that moved out of the way, she will tend bar and pick up a few bucks. But much better if the bars just worked like they're supposed to.🙄
