Mixologist behind bar, but not tending it, unavailable for orders

In my game I have this problem at times, and then after several tries and/or waiting a few sim-minutes it fixes itself, and then might come back a few sim-minutes after that.

I also have noticed that when I direct my played sim to make a bar drink, the action disappears at times. Similarly, after a few tries and/or a little time, my sim can do the action.
