Still happening after latest update; I'd say for me, it's actually even worse with the bartender consistently canceling interactions and now more frequently leaving from behind the bar. My sims lose money constantly because they buy a drink or food, then the bartender stops/cancels. Seems to happen with 95% failure rate if you order a drink for a group.
Above is occurring on a fresh new save game I started after fully updating the game, with no mods enabled. PC, EA launcher.
