Man, if I had known this was a thread, I would have taken screenshots. I just had a wedding event about 20 minutes ago and noticed the same thing...and I noticed that my guests (who were part of my household) were wearing formal (as I didn't choose an attire style because the two choices were greyed out, also, I didn't like those options anyway)...but they weren't the formal outfits that I had planned for them in CAS. Even when I tried changing the outfit at the wedding event, they still wore the same randomly generated one. The OTHER guests - who were NOT part of my household- wore random outfits...some even had HOSPITAL GOWNS on!??

Absolutely! A workaround I used the last wedding I planned was using the friendly small talk interaction to ask the guests to see their formal outfits. That “fixed” the random outfits, but having too many guests render such “fix” impractical.
There was this one time, though, when RNGeezus blessed Summer Holiday and she wore a gorgeous formal outfit. 😆- PhantasmKiss16 days agoSeasoned Ace
Guests show up to weddings in costumes (dad was a mailman, mom was a star wars character, etc) no matter what I set up. I didn't like spending half the events trying to ask for outfit changes, and have stopped throwing wedding events because it's such a mess.
