[MWS] Wedding won't end

When my sims have a wedding it simply will not end. There is no X button to manually cancel it, no amount of time seems to make it end automatically, and my sims can't travel or go to manage worlds to escape it. This seems to be exclusively with weddings, or at least does not include Bach parties, because that worked fine. I'm able to break out of it by exiting the save, loading in through manage worlds, and teleporting my sims to another household, but it doesn't give the "got married" milestone or automatically trigger it to add my sim's spouse to their household.
