Despite repairs, restarts and everything else I can think of, my adult Sims keep freezing, leaving the children to starve, become filthy and get taken away due to neglect.
This is not the usual 'reset object' sort of freeze and it is incredibly annoying, especially after spending ages investing in a toddler for them to be whisked away.
