Neighborhood Stories: Romantic/Friendship Changes no effect (Patch 1.116.202)

Have any of you tested a new save or just pre-patch ones (before this was 'fixed') ?

Could anyone test if it works with EP16 as only pack installed ? Does it work if you disable EP16 only ?

I also just tested this in my grind-through-the-event-save and can confirm that it's still not working.

A Sim was supposed to have become friends with another one, but they do not have any relationship. Interestingly he does have a "New Friend" moodlet.

Did a test by removing all of my mods - the same bug still occurs. Screenshots attached 

Had a notification that Valdislaus has become friends with someone. But when you play his household, he has no relationships

This is also a fresh brand new save file

I’m facing the same issue despite the update claiming they have “fixed” it.

I checked the mailbox where Penny (a city living premade) has become friends with someone. When I checked Penny - she does not know anyone or have a friend according to that neighbourhood stories notification mailbox.

However, I did have MC COMMAND CENTER which may be interfering with it. I’ll need to test it without MC COMMAND CENTER

To be sure, this wasn't a phone call you got. It was a story that showed when you clicked on the mail box and read the stories that happened.

Just wondering - 🤔 do you have Neighborhood stories enabled/disabled?  for your playable and non-playable households?   This section is more complex than many understand.  I had to lots of research to really truly understand just how it all functions and then ... I had to decide "what do I want to allow to change in these households when I am not actually playing them?"  You can configure what you allow to be changable with every household you choose.   If it is disabled - that will stop all neighborhood stories.  Maybe you already know this..... I'm just trying to help out. 😇

The stories where sims are supposed to get friendly or romantic relationships or break up still don't work
