Neighboring Houses show as Default/Empty

The lots in game, even though I replaced them with other builds, are reverting back to the EA defaults. The builds are still there, because when I view them from the manage world screen I can see them. But when I load into a lot, only the specific lot I loaded can be seen, the rest of the surrounding revert back to the EA defaults. This is especially a problem in Newcrest because by default the world is empty. So when I load into a lot in Newcrest, only the lot I loaded is there, the rest of the world is completely empty (even though, again, I can still see the builds from the mange world screen. so they definitely haven’t been deleted yet). I fixed the problem temporarily by reverting some residential rentals to just residential, but after the most recent update the issue came back. This problem is definitely tied to For Rent. But if I remove all my residential rentals it will make the For Rent pack basically unused/unplayable because there are no rentals (the main selling point of the pack).
