So... Any idea on when this bug will be resolved or do I continue to remake my save file by saving every single lot and families and remove some or all residential rentals ? It's getting ridiculous, I didn't buy the new EP since I can't play my busted save.
You're better off just doing exactly that. That's what I did back in Feb, and just never used any rental lots whatsoever. Doubt they'll fix this, it's clear they're turning a blind eye to it.
