I’m experiencing the exact same issue.
In Manage Worlds, all my lots show correctly, but in Live Mode the neighboring houses appear as default/empty builds.
This started happening after I changed a lot to Residential Rental (For Rent). After that, the entire neighborhood stopped updating properly in Live Mode.
Important details:
- No mods or CC installed
- Repairing the game did not fix it
- Deleting localthumbcache did not help
- Bulldozing a lot temporarily fixes the issue
- Converting a lot to Residential Rental triggers the bug again
It seems specifically related to Residential Rental lots breaking world rendering in Live Mode.
